The Vail and Beaver Creek Interfaith Chapels are fabulous sites for a wedding but they are also local church buildings not a public rental facility. Their mountain architecture and streamside settings add a beauty and spirituality to an occasion. Couples from all over the world come to Vail and Beaver Creek to be wed in the sight of God, their family, and friends. Covenant Presbyterian is pleased to be able to sponsor many of these holy events. If you are considering a wedding in either of the interfaith chapels the following information will be helpful to you. 

1. Covenant Presbyterian Church is a local Presbyterian congregation, that sponsors weddings as part of our ministry.  Since the weddings we sponsor are in a sanctuary and led by a pastor, realize the wedding service itself is a worship service; thus we are not wedding consultants nor are the Chapels rental facilities. A wedding service here is a holy opportunity for you to ask God to bless your marriage. Before your wedding can be booked, our wedding coordinator must speak with you to check availability and decide whether we can sponsor your wedding.  We are available by phone at 970-477-0383.     

2. The earliest a wedding can be booked is one year in advance. For example, July 2009 can only be booked as early as July 2008.  If you are planning your wedding at another venue in the valley, this does not apply. Six congregations meet in the Vail and Beaver Creek Chapel for worship, other activities and weddings, bookings are tight.  

3. 2008 Fees: Chapel Use - $800 (except 1-4pm, $1200); Hosting Church Fees - $700 (includes minister fees, steward fee, and administrator fee). 

    

4. All weddings include a rehearsal time of one hour the Friday before the wedding.
