VISION
Modern technology makes many promises:  cell phones, the web, and instant messaging promise to connect us with one another anywhere in the world.  These devices succeed in helping us communicate but they fall short in creating community and, unfortunately, there is no technology to reconnect us with God.  Our vision at Covenant is to provide what technology cannot: an atmosphere for people to build community with one another and allow us to reconnect with God through Jesus Christ. In a society where Grandmothers are miles from their grandchildren, neighborhoods are empty by day and locked down by night, marriages are broken, fathers are absent, and friendships are strained by distance and time, we believe Covenant can be an oasis of authentic community in a relational desert.  Worship services, small groups, casual meetings, classes, and trips together out into God's creation can all be opportunities for us at Covenant to grow closer to Christ and closer to one another.

BELIEFS
We believe God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of life.  There is one God active in the world through three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe we need God, the Father, to create and sustain our lives. Moreover, because we choose to ignore God's righteous role in our lives, we need our relationships with God restored.  This renewed fellowship can only take place through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, who was and is fully human and fully God.The need for grace and the gift of grace is communicated to us through the Holy Spirit, who, as God, dwells in us to empower us to live and serve our Creator.

We believe the Bible is the authoritative Word of God guiding us in all areas of faith and practice. We believe the Church is not a place in which we gather to worship God, but a people who gather together to worship God, fellowship with one another in the name of Christ, learn about life in Christ, serve one another and others in Christ, and share the saving grace of Jesus Christ with one and all.  We are striving to become the church without walls walking in faith at work, home, and to the ends of the earth.

MINISTRIES
We believe every follower of Christ is gifted for and called to serve as a minister.  We desire to provide opportunities for each of us to serve Christ inside and outside Covenant.
